Several of the job search sites have links to on line programs. You could go to monster or careerbuilder. When I've registered they ask if I want info on education.

Thanks. But wasn't able to find any civil online programs on these sites I wonder if I might not have done a proper search.

Yes. University of North Dakota. Takes 6+ years. Online except for the odd visit (I think there are labs something like one week per year, but I'm not sure about civil). Fully accredited. Legitimate.

Thanks. Are there any which may take a far shorter time, say two years?

A resident degree takes at least four years. An online or distance degree can't take less except from a diploma mill. You might be able to get CLEP credit for some courses, but that would typically shave only a semester at most. If you want a real degree, there are a lot of courses to take.

You might want to look at University of Idaho, Engineering Outreach, College of Engineering, P. O. Box 441014, Moscow, ID 83844, USA, www.outreach.uidaho.edu/oe, 800-824-2889 ext. 6782, civilengr@uidaho.edu. Also Norwich University (USA) has a masters program online.
