nuts and bolts

hi

anyone tell me how to prevent the rusting of nuts and bolts in the electrical panels

Coat with grease/use corrosion resistant steel hardware/use a weatherproof cabinet.

Silicon-Bronze bolts are the recommend nut/bolt of choice in Canada. They are the only type that would be CSA approved for buss work connections. The use of other types of hardware promotes oxidization by the mere presents of an electrical field. I found the use of rubberized tape covering the bolts help to keep the oxidation at bay. Pain in the butt when you had to undo the bolts for any reason.
