What is servo motor? What is firing order for v12 engine? Can i run petrol/diesel engine using compressed air?

A servo is a smaller usually electric motor used to operate some remote device. As for the firing order of a V12 engine it depends upon who's engine it is! Not all engines have the same firing order!

Yes u can run petrol engine with the help of compressed air but most suitable application to run on compressed air is air motor which might be more efficient than petrol engine.

servo motor is type of motor may be AC or DC.

having quick acceleration and deceleration ability.

the torque at any RPM is constant.

in servo u can get perfect angular position of shaft.

this motor are mostly used in automation.

If you really want to use a gas engine for an air motor or a compressor you will have to design a custom cam for it. I remember a kit that turned a Volkswagen engine into a self powered air compressor by using one bank to supply power and the other side to pump air. It does work. That kit did include a special cam.

What makes any motor a servo motor is the application of negative feedback to control the motor. DC electric motors are some of the easiest motors to do this so they are often labeled as a servo motor but it's applying the negative feedback itself that makes it a servo motor. The engine and transmission system of many of todays cars become a servo motor when in cruise control.

Firing order for Detroit Diesel V-12 engines is different for RH and LH rotation.

RH = 1L-6L-3R-5R-3L-5L-2R-4R-2L-4L-1R-6R

LH = 1L-6R-1R-4L-2L-4R-2R-5L-3L-5R-3R-6L

Rotation is as viewed from the front of the engine. Good luck.

a servo motor is a device which can move a specified amt when sent the appropriate signal. These are often used in radio controled model planes. Of course they are also used in industry where precise control is necessary.
