If you are in API business why not get a copy of 5B

BTW: you are going to need the gauge too.

Well SB i had the gauge from the customer but they ask me to get thd API thd detail from internet,That why i need the CR4 member to help.

We have the copy of the standard in our library, but as you know it can not be attached.

a) hard copy

b) IPR violation.

However if you want any specific dimesnion it can be given. I still propose you must get hold of the API 5B. The details are extensive and runs over pages (though the dimensions and drawings are in 2 or 3 pages)

Hi Alfred,

It is a straight Bore

First of all finish bore 2.790" to length of more than 2.625" with 30 or 45 Degree and release to the existing bore dia.

Set Machine taper to 3/4 TPF

Blank the bore to dia of 2.955

machine according to my previous data which i send you earlier.

I Hope it will enough for you.

If u satisfied give me a reply.

you can rely on my datas.I am working in an oil field Repair/Service compnay.

Effective Minimum Thread Length:2-5/8"

Cylindrical Length:3-1/8"(Max)

Bore Diameter at the end : 2.955"

Thread Lead : (+0.0015/-0.0015 in 1")

Thread Taper : 3/4" TPF(+0.0052/-0.0026)

Thread Depth : 0.0071(+0.002/-0.004)

Thread Stand Off : 0.250 (+0.125/-0.125)

Thread Form : Included angle 60 degree
