dol starter motor requires 3 core * 4 sq mm Copper Armoured cable.

How can you say this with out knowing the voltage?

we can use 3core, 2.5 sq mm cable for dol starter motors.

The <...we...> needs to assure compliance with the applicable local electrical standard. First.

For three phase AC motor( 415 volts,starter:DOL) 3 core x 4 sq.mm cu.conductor armoured cacle shall be used. for single phase motor (230 Volts) you can use 6 sq.mm x 3core CU. conductor cable to be used .For 110 volts motor, you can use 10 sq.mm x 3 core cu.cable. O.k All the best.

Use British Standard 7671, then.

how we can calculate the Busbar size for electric panels.
