Of Interest to All Engineers

If you are an engineer or even if you are not, the following two links will be of great interest to anyone who has a thirst for knowledge.

I was pretty impressed with what they could do way back until I looked at the cover and it said 19 flipping 05!

Its pathetic how we struggle now with so much technology at our disposal.

When you are adrift in a sea of information it can be difficult to keep your head above water (or more simply, so much information is readily available and technology is changing so fast it can be difficult to keep up. Information overload). It is hard enough for a engineer or scientist, practically impossible for the average person (another reason why free energy scammers can still stay in business).

Oh for a simpler time (perhaps not).

Remember, half of knowledge is knowing where to find it.

OK, so I've learned three things...

1. I wish I owned the patent on fire engine red ink.

2. We should all go back to playing "whirling bean-bag."

3. All engineers should be forced to smoke pipes - makes them seem more creditable.
