Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp

LCD panel including 2 parts, the front is liquid display, another parts is the bottom backlgiht , because LCD unlike CRT, PDP, FDD, LCD panels can not light by themselves, so it need edge light (CCFL lamp) reflect light to the surface. Many problems are caused by the bottom backlight.

Normally LCD Liquid panel's life more than 10 years, but the backlight life only 2-3 years, so you can change the Cold Cathod Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) by yourselves to extend the LCD life, if you found following problems;

1. Dim Screen

2. Flickering Screen

3. Pink and Red light of the Sreen

4. Black or No image
