If its a roller bearing, the rollers themselves can be used as projectiles with a slingshot for small game and pests. the balance should be recycled, or if you fancy yourself an artist could be welded into part of a sculpture of your own design.

There is a limited use for old ball bearing races, only a couple or so of each size. I break them apart save an inner and outer ring these can be used for bearing extractors of the same size where a race has disintegrated in its housing and left the inner or outer stuck in the housing or shaft . Also sometimes use full for fitting in slow moving mechanical items of a non critical nature, I turned some larger ones into machinery skates.

Otherwise break larger ones and give the balls to children to play with they just love them.

If you are decent with a torch and a welder, you can make some really cool stuff for kids to play on. They wont notice that there is a damaged cup or race, as long as it easily goes round and round its all good!

Depending on size and quantity, I have seen some great wind chimes made from bearing races. Sold at a fair for $10.00 to $20.00 depending on size

Make wind chimes out of the outer and inner races. Send the ball or roller bearings to Del the Cat He will be able to forge them into arrowheads.
