Orifice vs. Restricted Orifice

Im facing a problem, What is difference between Orifice and Restricted Orifice?

Semantics - used more to describe the purpose than the article.

Orifice (plate) - normally as used in when describing such things as differential pressure type flow meter.

Restriction Orifice. Usually used when describing an Orifice designed to restrict flow thereby lowering the pressure as in where a lower pressure is required to say the bearings than the pressure available in the header.

Note that they both have the same effect, there is a difference in pressure from the upstream side to the downstream side.

Restricted orifice is a new one to me - I assume "restriction"
