What is your location? Solar energy business depends up on your location.

(It seems, you must me from some asian country... you are asking very elementary question)

Dear Sir,

Do some concrete activity in the field of Solar Water Pumps for the utility in the villages.

There is a tremendous scope for this type of project.

So the best of luck to you.

Regards,

I'd advice you to partner with one or two more engineers who share the same interests. One other person well versed in procurement and logistics would be a plus because this is half of the problem if you are thinking of starting in Asia or Africa. other than that just seek help and information from businesses that are already doing it within the location where you are planning, and see what they are doing right (or wrong).

I'm planning on doing the same thing (in East Africa), and so far i see a lot of potential especially with the solar water pumps as one poster stated, as well as co-generation for small industries/businesses that rely on the intermittent government power supply. Good luck and if you get any good info please feel free to send me a message as I'm also in the research process in this endeavour.

Easy:

1. Build and design a sell-able unit.

2. Sell unit.

3. Install unit.

4. Make profit

5. Start at the beginning and learn from your mistakes.

6. Do it fast, fishing on an outgoing tide is a waste of time.

7. Do it with all your heart, again and again.

If you only want to be the middle man, join the club and like others wait for the next trend to jump onto. But wait, there is more.........

Good luck, Ky.
