Measuring Reactance in XLPE Al Cable

how can we measure reactance in XLPE Al Cable?i want to find out losses in that cable?it ll be very helpfull for me if i can get the formula?

If you are counting on the reactance for losses You will find that it is zero. No need to measure or calculate anything. If you are concerned with voltage drop, then thats another problem.

Try a google search of "cable reactance" or the cable manufacturer's website for technical detail on your specific cable.

no need for you to calculate for the reactance of the cable. because when you purchase that cable, the manufacturer will give you the full detail of their product. for the losses, the manufacturer will obviously give you the derating factor of such cable.
