Hydro testing in 700NB alloy steel pipes.

Dear All,

I have observed that during hydrotesting at the 10.5 Kg/cm2 in 700NB pipe length around 18meter at normal/ambient tempreture of water for hydro testing,the pressure on the gauge arises minutely however we have stopped the pump.what factors are working to arise the pressure.whenever tempreture of works area where hydrotesting carrying is only 30 degree centigrate.

If the pipes are outdoor, it could be due to solar heating. Try doing the test in cloudy or early morning conditions and then see.
