The questions you ask are so elementary as to make me think you should pay someone to install it.

I am disappointed in lyn's post (#1) for two reasons...

1) as basic as my electronics knowledge is, I would suspect the schematic to be a rudimentary amp/booster for his (car's) sound system --- not cell phone

and

2) the link given brings up a page with a plethora of parts, accessories, etc ... but no aids whatsoever as to help with the question (hook-up).

Tho I may be off-base, I would suggest that RCA jacks are typically used for the ('left-side' of schematic) left & right inputs. The outputs ('right-side' of schematic) go to the speakers. If your current "head" unit {player} does not provide additional outputs with which to feed the booster's inputs, then you need an adapter (available from Radio The Shack and elsewhere, that will connect to your current speaker outputs in order to provide the input level for the booster.

"More data" from Kaos91 , please...

i was first trying to make a head unit but wanted a simplier, quicker alternative so i 4ot this would work

Hmmm... I'm assuming U1 is a power amplifier IC, not knowing which one renders me more or less unable to suggest anything. It's a very basic schematic and I would imagine you would need to add a heatsink to dissipate the heat and there are no values for the bootstrap components. C1&2 Anything between 0.47 and 100uF would suffice at about 35V. You would need to build a casing for it and mount it on some kind of PCB, maybe Veroboard. Panel mount the RCA jacks with the earths commonned and the centres to the capacitors (If polarised I would fit them the opposite way to the schematic), Binding posts for the speaker out...well, self explanatory, 2 for each channel etc. And the power well maybe binding posts again, the longer the power leads back to the battery the higher the value for C6. Not knowing the Power output means I can't guess a value but say for 100W, at least 50,000uF.
