Transformer Impedence

08/25/2009 12:08 AM

Dear All

What is meant by impedence of transformer i.e if a transformer has 4% impedence what does it means & if a transformer is manufactured and its impedence is out of given rated tolerance(e.g 4.6% against 4% with 10%tolerance) how to rectify this to bring it down within range

It will be hard to answer your question. it's vague. You seems don't understand what is impedence and what a transformer acts?

I try to guess and guess again. and stilll don't know what you are saying.

Relate to transformer itself, it has as very higher impedence as possible, it can only accept a very little current from line. another side, it has vary impedence for coupling and transforming.

This is a very different concept.

What on earth do you want to express?

CNpower will cause someone's upset. haha.
