relay setting

for a 6mw alternator what will be the protection relay setting and related calculation with formula?

many data are required.

y = mx +b , where y = garbage in , x = garbage out.

6 mw generator, what is the system fault level ?

what type of relay are you using ? - is it a multi function ? or for earth fault ? or for instantenous peak ?

what are the ct ratio details ?

The best and more accurate method is to do the device coordination using a software (like ETAP).

For a generator that only produces 6mw (that is 6 milliWatts) you should not need any protection whatsoever!

I suspect you meant 6MW. VERY different!
