How to Mount a Temperature Sensor in the Aluminum Tray

12/20/2006 10:28 AM

Here i want to know how to mount the temperature sensor on the aluminum tray itself, that sensor won't sense the tray temperature, its should sense the tray top side PVC liquid bags..but the tray itself we have to give some holes aare somthing like that..or what is the procedure to mount like that...or any other method is there to mount...that sensor may be a NTC-sensor or thermocouples

Nagarajan,

A little more detail please. You seem to be assuming that we know what you're talking about. Please describe your situation and equipment more thoroughly.

Silver loaded epoxy resin, should be able to fix a thermocouple/whatever to the underside of an aluminium tray. There is probably no need to drill holes. Insulate the bottom of the tray, if this is practical. then the sensor will read the top surface temperature accurately as aluminium is an excellent heat conductor.

i.e. 2.37 W /cm/C.
