1998 Dodge - Transmission Torque Converter

09/12/2009 5:13 PM

the transmission torque converter will not stay locked inn. this seems to be an electrical problem. if you have a new batery and new alternater it runs fine, but after about 1 to 2 months it goes back to the jumping back and forth. this happens at 50 to 60 miles an hour. i have heard that there is an electrical filter on the fire wall that can be changed , is this true? r there anyother ideas?

Find that electrical filter and splice into the ground wire, run the spliced wire directly to ground.
