Is This a Hoax?

09/17/2009 9:31 AM

Recently I have come across more & more discussion surrounding Magnet Generators.

Do these devices perform as claimed? Is there a place for them in our ""Energy Hungry

World"? Please take a moment to view this short video and I welcome your comments!

Hoax!

Right up there with HHO and Thermitic Materials. Think about it.

Have the laws of physics somehow been magically altered?

Just fire one up in each hemisphere and everyone on earth would have power?

Really!

Yes, it's a hoax and it's been discussed here before:

Chris, Thanks for the link. I am new to Cr4 and missed this discussion.

I had a lot of trouble "swallowing" this "concept" and the CR4 contributors came through

as usual. There are an endless supply of charlatans out there! K

Hah, if it's an endless supply, maybe we can harness them somehow to produce endless cheap power

It is truly appalling to see the youtube comments on this; how many people are taken in by it.

Just another junk science hoax!

I'm especially disturbed that an Electrical Engineer (supposedly) endorses this junk. While it may not be an obvious hoax to the general public, anyone with a university degree in science, physics, or engineering should be able to see this over-unity junk for what it is.

Investors BEWARE!

If the hoax is done deliberately, what makes you think that the Electrical Engineer is not also a hoax?

I am a little surprise to see that article. Christie and Britt's have flogged the same/similar concept as Lutec for years now. I actually took the time to speak to one of them and to (I think it was) Steve Bassington. Steve was less than convinced when I spoke to him - basically the scam arises out or using a separate power source to excite the motor and then incorrectly calculating what the power input is. When I spoke to (was it John) a couple of years ago, he couldn't give any convincing answer as to why they'd not simply hooked the motor up to a conventional generator and used that to excite the motor. doing so would avoid all the questions that arise out of using a separate stored energy source. The investment proposal they had was also less than exciting. It was basically "you fund the development" and we'll give you a share of the Australian market but keep the World market for ourselves. They were months away from the market years ago, AND when I spoke to them they were "close to signing a big famous rich US investor" , didn't need any more money.....but maybe.......and then next thing you know they were looking for money. Yep its a scam, but one that has been running for years. Cannot see how they are not forced to put up or go to gaol.
