I am not a spammer nor representative of this product nor it's manufacturer. I have only watched this product for a number of years and have further researched into self making a similar product. All the materials to "home brew" such preservative are readily available.

The borax you mention is not a Cedarshield product. Their product ranges incorprate their trade name of "Boron Technology" and I have used all of the boron related products for many years over in the UK. They are very good products but more used by the remedial treatments industry for dampness, fungal decay and so on. The Cedarshield product range are completely different and innovative and they successfully handle a very wide range of applications in almost every industry and environment...plus they can all be applied by the end users too with no special license, training or protective clothing needed. For example, their Bed Bug elimination programs use one of their products which has been tested by the US Government and numerous Universities and proved and documented as "The most effective product of its kind currently available anywhere" and it's all natural. Meaning, there is no requirement for premises evacuation and the best is, it kills not only the bed bugs, but also head lice, nits, even crabs if there are any and all spiders and ants which may also be in the room being treated. Their lumber products I have found are equally amazing and are changing the way mills, manufacturers and contractors treat their lumber. So my friend, I do agree with you that Borax offer good products but in reality, they cannot be compared to what Cedarshield.ca provide.
