chemical dose for water treatment

hi all...i need some help on how to calculate chemical dose for water treatment.. what are the other required data beside raw water composition and national standard...

Purpose of water, maximum allowable concentration reqd. etc. Your question is far to general to be properly answered. Provide us all the details and I'll teach you how to calculate the dosage.

How can I calculate the dose for boiler water and cooling water?

Can you please give an example for each ?
