Painting Robot Wanted

10/05/2009 6:08 PM

Hello All,

I'm looking for a used painting robot that can be used to apply CARC coating to a number of irregularly shaped parts. As a cheap but demanding consumer, I'm looking for high quality at an increadibly low price. Is anyone aware of a plant liquidation auction where I might be able to pick up such a contraption?

Thanks

P.S. Yes, I have googled and found a few leads, but many of the results were for auctions that have already closed. I was hoping for more timely information via this forum.

As an aside -- I just hoverd my mouse pointer over the crosshairs under your picture. It pops up the text "Hobbies - Target Shooting - New Member." If you think about it, it sounds like a very disturbed hobby.

I work for Delta Tau Data Systems.

We specialize in motion controll and robotic mechanisims.

YouTube us and you can see some of our work.

We were working on a machine not no long ago that paints three perpindicular lines around the surface of a golf ball. these golf ball's were used by a major leading club manufacturing company for a test base for designing all of thier clubs.

we have another machanism that is designed to put an even coat of paint around the entire surface of a golf ball with no defects.

im sure we can adapt these concepts to fit your needs

give me a call and I can get you in touch with the right people to design and manufacture your mechanism.

these guys do auctions, but robots do not go cheap, as buyers of used robots for spare parts chase them hard. They also need associated programming tools, which might be another lot or not sold at that time

True, but if you want a painting robot it's not a bad place to start. You just have to be sure you get all the parts. Hire a former production engineer from the factory as a temp.
