High Chrome Grinding Media

10/06/2009 11:48 PM

I have been reading about forged steel and high chrome cast grinding media. I was wondering what materials the high chrome grinding media was being used in the grinding of? Is it just magnetite ore and cement, or are there other sectors where high chrome grinding media is becoming the media of choice?

I had, yes, thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping a forum like this might be able to help with some more specific information than a web search engine, but judging by the quality of reply I see I was wrong.

It is the preferred one for coal pulverisers and for years now. (may be >10 as I remember)

Thank you. I meant to add thermal coal power plants as well.
