I made up a TV Show that I want to sell. I've gone through two rounds of negotiations over it. It is a Reality type show, though it would be a bit more expensive to produce, than others. I'll sell the writing for 10 percent of gross production costs as writer. If you want me to direct it I want 20 percent for the two jobs. A buy out is possible.
A company in LA says it would be worth it to spend 5 grand with them for budgeting and consulting to pitch.
I say if in their judgement, it is worth 5 grand for me to give them, i'd sell it to you for 5 grand.
P.S. as writing this I got another phone call about the show.
