  • Thermal power plant having lot of instrumet controls those needs Ups supply.Now a days the plant controled by PLC/SCADA/DCS. These needs uninterrupted power supply for smooth plant running and further diagnose the problems. if there is no UPS there may be chance of data loosing and programme corruption.
  • When sudden trip of generator,power will not be available at power station. Alternator and turbine bearings needs cooling, for these also needs battery back up to run D.C. auxiliary oil pump for cooling the bearings and casing to avoid thermal expanisions.
