Biodiesels: Reducing Dependence on Foreign Petrol

06/20/2005 8:15 AM

Neat! Even at just 5% palm, production might save 100 billion Baht per year for Thailand. Others (in the USA) are experimenting with different forms of biodiesels from corn and soybeans. This is a great way to not only reduce petrol imports, but also to pump more money into farms and use some of the excess produce they are capable of growing.

Fuel

With all the grain surplus and farm subsidies Biodiesel should be one of our highest priorities. It would solve so many problems with both our economy and our environment. With all the surpluses we have we could be the one supplying the rest of the world with fuel.
