Operate maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment associated with a 2 on 1 combined cycle power plant. Perform auxiliary operations functions. Conduct routine inspections and log instrument readings. Monitor operations of emissions control equipment. Create and close out work orders using MAXIMO for preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. Start up and operate RCC waste water discharge evaporation system us DCS. Perform water chemistry testing for phosphates, silica, PH, DO, and conductivity. Make adjustments to chemical injection as necessary. Process raw water using mixed bed ion exchange dematerializer, RO and E cells. Plant equipment: GE 7FA combustion turbines / generators, steam turbine, HRSG with SCR aqueous ammonia injection. Air cooled steam condenser, LP, IP and HP boilers, super heaters and economizers. Perfom DCS / transmitter feedback checks, calibration, and verification routinely and during outages.
