When you float it with a trowel or when it is poured as a raft foundation !?*

On the serious side I think it is when the concrete structure is constructed as a hull with bottom, sides and bulkheads that allows it to float as a structure.

"Buoyancy Concrete" is a construction material first conjured up by Charlatan Developers, Inc. to lend credence to their since-failed scheme to build retirement villages in the Everglades and along Lousiana's bayoux.

It is made from dream cement and fairy dust, requires no maintenance, and lasts forever. Even unskilled workmen can turn our professional-looking castles in the air or whatever else their imaginations can design. Do not confuse it with products made with portland cement and or sand/gravel aggregates, except that these materials might be used to consitute less than half the total weight of the fabrication.

Due to the lack availability of this material Noah was never able to refloat his Ark, the Titanic remains at the bottom of the Atlantic, and there is no paved sea-level highway to Alaska.

If you have discovered a practical mix for this stuff, please notify me asap!
