Electrical Harmonics

07-11-2009.

Dear Sirs,

I like to inform you that one my client is having the
following problem.

They have insatlled three numbers 1500 KVA, 33KV DG set for 3MW, 33KV Furnace Load. The Furnace has 12 pulse rectifier and produce 11 th and 13 th Harmonics predominantly. The Power factor of the system varies from 0.32 to 0.70. The Total current Harmonics of the system is about 28% . The have faced failure of a alternater winding.
could you please send us your offer along with details for automatic Power factor controller with filter at 33 KV system with tentative offer.

Also please provide technical literature about HT Automatic Power factor controller & LT APFC.

I suggest you go for a standard 7% De-tuned Passive Filter, which would filter any harmonics upwards of the 5th.

Your problem is too simple to discuss, the offers are what you are looking for.

Why don't you try your local yellow pages? Will you like an offer from say California?
