beep sounds

why do i hear a beep sound when i start my car and my foot is on brake , but when i release brake it goes off

What kind of car is it?

Maybe there is a leak in the brake booster, but that's a wild guess given the lack of information.

One of the possibilities is that there is an unintended electrical connection between the circuit that feeds the brake lights and the circuit that feeds the horn.
