Contact a transformers manufacture that makes them that size.

Unless of course you are one.

Then shamefully accept your college education didn't teach you crap about what you would really need to know in order to do your job. Then go and talk to one of the old school boys who built them for 40 years with nothing more than a high school eduction and real life experience! He probably can tell you everything just off the top of his head!

Just don't ask him how to simulate it on a computer.

I just don't understand such a stupid comment, first you praise someone then you you demean someone. No, I can't catch fish, but I sure can clean one. Can you???

A great chef can easily clean a fish and prepare it in countless ways. Yet not have any idea or conserns about how to actualy catch a fish. And there are countless fishermen who can catch fish by the ton but yet couldnt clean a fish with the same results that the chef could produce.

I have worked with many people who can simulate almost anything on a computer yet have no idea about if their simulations can actualy work in real life aplications. And I have worked with many others who can build almost anything but yet would have no want need or consern with having to do computer simulations for it first. Myself included.

I am also approaching the computer simulations with doubt, even I know the giant jet engines, wing profiles for the airliners and the submarines are built and tested by means of computer simulations.

This question is rather broad, technical and specialised in nature and is not something that can be answered in great detail either here or with a link to a single website or reference manual.

What is the application? If it is for an actual job or application then you need to consult a professional transformer manufacturer, but you will also need to supply more information (KVA rating, indoor/outdoor, dry type/wet type, etc).

For basic overview information (which is what you are probably after) try looking at transformer manufacturer websites like ABB and Siemens.

There are books and resources available off the internet to help increase your understanding.
