For my older Windows machine at HOME, I like avg-free. May not be as good as the payware, but all the other ones slowed my PC to a crawl. AVG runs fine and I have not had any virus problems.

Agree with that 99%! My Linux install is the most trouble free OS I have used since DOS. The AVG ware is only needed the 1% of the time I have to use my Windows machine. So far, my Linux box has been bullet proof without any additional protection.

Hi,

Avast is a good package and picks up things pretty quick.

Go www.avast.com and download the free home edition.
