The 240V-18V transformer in the mains inlet of a domestic audio amplifier does not need any.

If you are from India, please make a reference to the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956. It specifies in a rule regarding the fire wall & soak pit for transformers.

yes, if you are enquiring about Indian Standards and the transformer contains more than 2000 Ltrs. of Oil, IE Rule No.64 mandates a baffle wall of 4 hrs. fire rating and a soak pit of suitable capacity to contain total quantity of oil.
