Converting Plastic Wastes to Diesel Fuel

11/16/2009 10:37 PM

Good evening to all,

Is there somebody that can demonstrate to me how much DIESEL fuel can we make by gasification of mixed used PLASTICS? (Example: Kg to liter or pound to ounces)

Thank you in advance,

H. L.

There is a large resource of mixed plastics, awaiting harvesting, floating in the North Pacific, according to reports.

I've seen pictures of the trash field. It's HUGH! Literally tons after tons of plastic rubbish. Lots of it ground down to chunks smaller that a millimeter. We humans, or is it humen? are soiling our own nest.

Oh, as a concession to those of you who think metric I used mm. Millimeters is the only metric term I can cope with, because I'm familiar with the size of 9 and 10 mm projectiles.

Cheers.
