Distance Protection

11/17/2009 8:55 AM

Hi everybody.
Now, I learn to design a 110kV substation. I have a matter, hope that you can help me.

I have known the principle of the Distance Protection, but I don't know what system, scheme, I should apply this protection in.

How I can choose the necessary protection functions for each electrical scheme.

You can give some advices or materials that i should learn.

Thank you so much.

Visit www.arevatd.com. They have a beautiful publication - "Network Protection & Automation Guide (NPAG)" - which is considered to be the Bible of Protective Relaying. It is free to download. Happy Reading!

Yes, you could search upon those references. What configuration are you using in your substation?
