These are great questions, and I'd like to take time to respond -- although I don't have the time right now. You will find that we have some insightful people (with some good healthy cynics among them) who will contribute to the thread, I hope.

Never ever resign in a "harsh" way. The world is very small and you do not want to burn any bridges.

What is the key purpose of your job? To add value by protecting the customer as we serve his needs. What type of difficulties you suffer from your upper managment? All types of difficulties. Except lack of respect. I don't suffer that, because if I am not respected, I will leave immediately. IMMEDIATELY. how can i better myself in that organization? Become the change that you wish to see in that organization what should be my objective? Continuous improvement of the people and process under your authority. for acheiving tht objectives, what steps shoud take by me or by my organization? Create a process that genuinely values the contributions of all involved and create effective measureables that drive a culture of making things better and share the rewards based on measured, objective continuous improvements and improved customer satisfaction. Google "Gainsharing" how can i resign to my firm both in btter ways and harsh ways? both ways are required by me. I don't know if you mean "better" ways or "bitter" ways? I would resign professionally, and not make it an emotional event. While you may feel that you were slighted, or worse, I see no reason for "harsh ways." "Become the change that you wish to see" means modelling professional behavior. If your leaving is a loss, they will certainly feel that loss soon enough. I would look them in the eye, shake their hand , and with a tiny bit of a grin say " Thanks and good luck to you all." Then I would leave and not look back. That will give them plenty to think about. Henry Ford used to say "Don't complain, Don't explain" when people were digging into his personal life. Presuming that your employers didn't care to know what you thought while you were working, why should you share what you're thinking now that your'e leaving. Normally, I'm all about overcommunicating, but in this circumstance,WHat will it accomplish? You have learned much there, even if it is how NOT to do something. Life is too short to harbor bitterness. If the issues are legal damages, let the lawyers handle. But I would advise you to rise above it . Just like I would give my sons and daughters the same advice. Why create a feud? If you wanted to sum up this discussion into one sentence it would be to consider and act based upon your knowledge of "what is the object of the act?" If you have that in sight, it will all come together. "What is the object of the act?" Peace to you. milo

Folks we apologize for the fact that this came out as one big honkin paragraph. Apparently the macbook and the CR4 dont get along. (it also loses the edit tool bar smiley faces capability and ability to format text.)

My apologies for lump o'text.
