Mercury Water Chiller Refrigerant Charge

01/10/2007 5:27 AM

Good Morning Folks

Some one out there must have the answer to this. We have a Mercury Water Chiller

Type MC3500A

Serial No 7891

Having contacted the manufacturer and waited two + weeks for a response I challenge the readers to assist.

What is the refrigerant charge per circuit???

Do we assume "Mercury" is a brand name?

Chills water? How much? Compressor? What type, centrifugal?

If I had one with the same type I might know what refrigerant it uses. Otherwise ? ? ? ?

If you let a little refrigerant escape the system does it flash to gas or can a little liquid be withdrawn?
