01/11/2007 5:28 AM

Anyone out there with the wiring diagram to, and the circuit that feeds the fuel pumps, is there any relays or fuses in circuit, if so where are they, bought a book, but it shows nothing. Thanks to all.

A sl500 w129 is a device for eviscerating snakes. It uses hamsters for fuel, unfused hamsters...unless I am wrong and it is something else?

There is fuel pump relay, but I do not know its location.

Try one of the Mercedes Blogs or forums.

You can buy wiring diagrams on the web is another option of course.

Beatifull humour, I love it.

The originating Guy knew what he was talking about, he just did not get to putting that in his request properly. (lets face it, At all!)

He must be very young or very old, like me.......

It is not simple. There is a fuse, there is a relay, AND there is a circuit interrupter in the event of a collision. You really do need to get a good wiring diagram and the test procedure. The 'system' has several other inputs that give the fuel pump 'permission' to turn on.

Good luck--R129's from early to mid 90's have 'biodegradeble wiring insulation' that crumbles to dust.
