I am a 14 year old girl from racine WI. One of my friends said this would be a very good place to ask a question. Global warming? What can i help do to slow it down and what can ohter people do. I am very concerned about the enviroment, as a vegetarian and i active recycler i don't know what else i can to . Nobody as fully even explained global warming to me in a understandable teen way. Can you help????

You won't get a definite answer to this one, as there is no consensus, especially on this forum! I suggest that the anecdotal evidence is over whelming that there is a problem. All you can do is follow your conscience and get as much information as you can to make your own mind up. Here in the UK we have a great many incentives and public awareness campaigns, and this spring is, so far the warmest for many years, so the prevailing opinion is to go for environmentally friendly solutions. If global warming is a fact, and I think it is, you will be helping the environment, if it's not, you're not hurting it. Expect an apposing view from Seaplaneguy!
