What's up with gmail?

11/26/2009 4:05 AM

Gmail is acting weird, some days or some sessions I can use the back button or back key to get from inside an email back to the inbox, other days or even other sessions on the same day, hitting the back button or back key causes the whole program to reload.

WTF is gong on?

It's been like this for some time now (months) so I guess they must know about it in Mountain View?

Don't know, but have the same problem. I find gmail a most irritating programme. Stores mail on top of each other so you never know what is open and what you have missed in the thread.

If the back button does not work then you have to scroll to the top or to the bottm in order to do anything. Horrible.

I've had that 're-load' problem with g-mail also. I had thought it was an artefact of my inadequate dial-up connection.

Guys, we want attractive freebies like huge mailbox that permits cloud computing etc and at the same time expect miracles with our archic netspeeds. Unlike we equip ourselves with reasonably good broadband speed, it is always gonna be like an ant wanting to make love to an elephant.
