Exhaust Frame Blowers

I am involved in the construction and installation of a frame 9E gas turbine(GE),and i want someone to explain to me the role of the exhaust frame blower in the as an independent unit that is linked to the turbine and hw does the oil mist eliminator work in the gas turbine?are these two componenets related in any way?Thank u all for your fast response

I do not know your specific package and they are all different, but here goes.

The "exhaust frame blower" will be a usually spared blower that takes atmospheric air and blows it into and around the exhaust frame/casing in order to reduce the temperature of the metal in this area.

The oil mist recovery system is completely separate and draws off the oil mist from the oil sump and separates out the oil and returns it to the sump while venting the air to atmospheric safe location. This prevents an explosive/flammable oil mist from building up in the sump or the turbine enclosure.

Thank u very much for ur explanation.As regards the oilmist eliminator i'll appreciate it if u throw more light on it,and please what do u mean by oil sump?is sump a pump?

it cools the exhaust fan, turbine legs. mist eleminatir remove oil mist, maintain the vacume of lub oil tank and prevent bearings to be pressurised. otherwise there will be oil leakages from bearings. exhaust frame cooling and mist eleminator are different.
