NYC Snapple Meltdown

Snapple SNAFU:
Snapple miscalculated the temperature and needed cooling effects on the giant popsicle they built to beat the world record. The result was Union Square being covered in 35,000 lbs of melted kiwi-strawberry slush.

There were 2 fire companies there with hoses washing it all way. It took them 45 min. People are talking about suing to get their shoes replaced though.
