Handy Wrap Converter

How do you cut a pallet stretch film of 500 mm wide into 100 mm wide handy wrap rolls.

Or how do you convert a stretch wrapping roll of 20 micron thick x 500 mm wide x 300 meters long to a handy wrap roll of 100 mm wide x 300 meters long x 5 pcs (100 mm x 5 = 500 mm).

I will be very thankful if someone can advise/help me to make a machine which could do the above.

Thank you in advance

S.L.: If you are looking to slit this film on a regular basis, you can buy a continuous roll slitting machine. Dusenbury and Nishimura are reputable manufacturers and there are many other firms, too. Also, there are plenty of used machines on the market. If you are not yet ready to purchase a machine, you may want to make uses of a firm that offers slitting and other converting services. The costs are economical for smaller volume requirements and the machine operators will have expertise that you may find of great value in processing thin films at narrow widths. There are many firms who provide such services; Boyd Converting (http://www.boydconverting.com) is one name that comes to mind.
