Short Circuit

Please give the short circuit current in single phase 230V

And short circuit current in three phase 415V

It is apparent that you have never had to make this calculation. You have provided none of the information required. Lyn has provided you a good method to make this calculation. Let us know how you come out.

The short circuit current is depending on the total impedance of your system.

Simply divide your voltage to the total impedance of your system. The result is your short circuit current.

for 230V, Isc = 230/ short circuit resistance

for 415V, Isc = ( 1.732 *230)/ short circuit resistance for 1phase fault
