This depends on many things.

What size is the space to be cooled?

What sources of heat are in this space, and how much heat does each produce? (Lights, fans, other motors, people, electronic equipment, and maybe others.)

What is the insulation value of the walls, floor, and ceiling?

How large are any doors and windows? Especially, how much of the time are any of these open?

What is the temperature of the air outside the space, under worst conditions?

Do you also need to maintain a particular relative humidity within the space?

These are the main questions, but there may be others.

By not giving any details at all, no one can even start to answer your question. Instead, everyone must ask you questions.
