How to Stamp PETG Plastic

Hi does anybody have any experience in puting company logos on clear pet-g plastic?I have tried a rubber stamp but the ink just smears off.any help would be great thankx.

Without more details, this is about as far as i can go. Kinda depends on volume, too.

The Hot Stamping Process

Laser marking may be an option.

Pad printing may also be an option.

Check out these three processes and get nack to us.

Hi,

we stamped with hot aluminum and later tried sapphire.

Biggest problem is the exact temperature if there are deep structures.

1. print the logo on transparent printable sticker media,

2. apply sticker on thin PET-G plastic sheet,

3. sandwich the sticker using another clear PET-G plastic sheet.

4. done!

Your best bet will likely be pad (transfer) printing; a plethora of inks and solvents for any color on any material.

Computer printers can print on transparencies for overhead projectors, that may be a special ink. A lot of printer ink is water base, may not work for your job. Look for printer ink that is waterproof, I see ads for photo printers that say they are not water base, more durable.
