Try Ebay. A lot of this stuff goes cheap as it has little broad appeal. Search first and see what is selling and has sold on Ebay and at what prices, and decide.
My hobby has been finding those elusive auctions for old and very good instruments that the seller has no idea what he's selling, so I can snatch them at a cheap price and have fun restoring them and calibrating them before selling them back on ebay with a decent description and usually a decent end price !!

Do you think I will be able to sell stuff on e-bay from South Africa? Here people don't buy on e-bay so much, the postal system can't be trusted and the courrier services are too expencive. Also, people are lacking integrity and does not trust any one to pay for something without seeing and touching and when they buy they want it NOW. I would like to try and sell from here to Europe and the USA, can you give me any tips?
