microsoft outlook cannot open

Try this.....

click on Start ...( bottom left of screen)
Click on Run
Type outlook.exe /resetnavpane
(note space between exe /)
click on OK

I had follow you step, but seem the ms office outlook, still show this message.

cannot start microsoft office outlook, cannot open the window. the set of folder cannot be opened. the server cannot be opened. contact your administrator if this condition persists.

any other method to restore my emails

You could try system restore ....reverting to a date prior to the problem.
