Visual Nastran 4D Software

12/05/2009 8:54 AM

Hi,

i have been using this software for for motion analysis for 8 years now, and am reasonably good at it. However, i can't find the reason for the following phenomenon that happens:

When i specify that two objects must collide, in "True Geometry" mode, they penetrate each other. If i specify "Single point" contact...sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.

i would be grateful for any help on this. Thank you.

I don't know your particular application software, but check the suface tension setting (or what is equal ) for your objects. That will show how much rebound or absortion you get in a collision.
