Co-polymer Polypropylene with UV Stabilizer

looking for co-polymer polypropylene with stabilizer against solar radiation certification

One of our Greece client wanna make injection mold here , the parts( distance rings for rollers of conveyors )' materials' spec as below :

The percentage of the stabilisator in the mixture shall be certified from the raw material supplier.

The supplier shall also certify that the mechanical properties of the mixture will be decreased maximum

to 50 % in relation to the initial values under permanent solar radiation, in countries such Greece,

The official technical data sheet of the raw material supplier shall be send to us together with

your offer including also the mechanical properties as follows:

Tensile strength according to DIN 53455 27 : 30 N/mm2 maximum

Elongation at break according to DIN 54455 : 500 % minimum

Hardness in SHORE D according to DIN 53455 : 65 - 68

Impact strength ( CHARPY-test ) according to DIN 53453 at – 20o C :

4 KJ/m2 minimum

Please inform us if you have the possibility to control by your self above values.

Go here: Search GlobalSpec

Type in: "polypropylene suppliers"

Then ask some of them. We don't sell stuff here.

Sorry - With great respect - I don't recommend Polypropylene and/or Polyethylene based materials especially if you are investing so much for a product to last so many years. C-H bond is inherently vulnarable to radiation

I would recommend polymers that contain halogen (Either Fluorine or Chlorine) (Tedlar!! or PVC, or PFA) of the chain plus silicone or silica reinforced depending on how much transaparency you need.
