Bullet Detecting Sensor

Is there a sensor that can detect a rifle bullet passing it and if there is how small can you get the sensor?

Yes, there are sensors that can detect anything passing by. They can also be very small. Now if you add some more pertinent information, I might add some myself.

Chronographs are widely available, in a wide price range. Photos on this page show the commonly used "sky screen" photo detectors.

chronographs are available from any ammunition reloading suppliers Brownells is one i use
